Brave Mouse

Brave Mouse is a humorous fantasy about a cheeky little mouse who outsmarts a king.  Several repeating language patterns tell the story in dialogue and simple narrative.

The story has a beginning, middle end text structure.  Simple and compound sentences are used.  Quotation marks, exclamation marks, question marks, ellipses, and commas are used. Enlarged type is used for emphasis.  Fat Cat, Mouse, and Cook are capitalized names.  Type appears in art to add interest.  Humorous illustrations support the text directly and add meaning.

The contractions I’m and couldn’t are used.  The compound words anything and blueberry are used.  Interest words include brave, squeaks, pantry, gobble, smart, and especially.
