Big Things is a factual text that invites readers to learn about things that are big such as helicopters, trucks, planes, and ships.

These big things, as well as some components of them, are labeled. An index is presented.

Interest words include plane, helicopter, wheels, and ship. The simple adjective big is used. A drawing activity that invites students to think about big things is shown in the Teacher’s Guide notes.
