Baby Owl

Baby Owl is an animal fantasy about a baby owl who does not want to go to bed in the daytime like owls should. Baby owl meets animals who dislike him, as well as one who wants to eat him, before returning home to go to sleep.

Illustrations fully support the text. Simple dialogue and speech bubbles are used. To conclude, a Flow Diagram is presented that supports retelling of the animals encountered and their thoughts about baby owl.

The text is composed of a few easy, high-frequency words such as saw and said, and features the interest words owl, mouse, yuck, spider, rabbit, snake, and yum.
