Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein Gentle Genius is an expository nonfiction text about the famous physicist Albert Einstein and some of his work that changed the world. The text includes a section on physicist Persis Drell. Readers gain interesting information from text and graphics. Multiple scientists and their work are highlighted in the text. A two-page experiment written in third person procedural language invites students to create a solar oven to heat things.

Albert Einstein Gentle Genius is divided into sections with some subsections. Sentences contain connectives, contractions, prepositional phrases, and verbs with inflection endings. Glossary words are bold faced throughout the text. Some words appear in the vocabulary of mature language users.
